portland 3: portland classical chinese garden


above: cheesy off-center through-the-doorway shot. it seemed like a good idea at the time, and still i'm drawn to it. but it does seem almost unacceptably cheesy and off-center still.



above: i modified this photo a little. i don't know why the sky is white. i guess i thought if i bought a fancy enough camera i wouldn't have to solve my own photographic problems. "little did she know..." (from stranger than fiction) so anyway, in adjusting it i increased the sharpness and the color saturation, and i like it. the sky is still white though. oh well. :)



above: ben took this. he's tall, and better situated to seeing and appreciating the beauty in a few roofs. rooves. a roof and another roof and then another roof...
