thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. my aunt died monday night and i went up to asheville yesterday for the funeral.
my mom told me she'd buy a spot for me there in the cemetary, next to my grandma and grandpa and aunt. and i guess my mom. my stepdad wants to have his ashes scattered in the ocean or the ozarks or something.
one of my favorite card games as a child was "old maid." i guess i always knew.
