i finally made it to las vegas.

i am in las vegas at last. i like it. it's completely manufactured, just like they say. i saw the grand canyon flying in. even from the plane it was huge.

i love Nikki, who can force me forcelessly after five long years to finally take a trip by myself all the way across the country to visit her in her small house that looks like all the other small houses in her neighborhood. her backyard is full of rocks. the sky here is bigger than any i've seen in some time. the mountains are like ginormous rocks.

we played scattergories earlier and i realized that somewhere along the way my vocabulary went to shit. we are getting ready to go swimming. i am having a great time. her puppy named puppy is the sweetest little thing. when you talk to her she jumps up in the air like a circus dog.

i'm happy to be here.
