for those of you who are more interested in updates on charity's life than in long-winded allegories and "pontifications" (that's for you, Jason), i thought i would let you know a few things:
1) i'm having deja vu, which is weird
2) i drank this weekend, and noticed a dramatic decrease in quality of sleep, so i'm back on the wagon for another week
3) i needed that beer though coz i saw one of my Exes (big-E Ex, not little-e ex) on the street in little 5 points on friday. he was with his current girlfriend (who was his best friend throughout our relationship, but i'll write about that another time). then saturday at a new friend's house there was randomly a poster with his stupid band's name on it, so i guess they're back together too. great for him. yea.
4) Neko Case has the most amazing powerful incredible awe-inspiring voice i have ever heard, and Kelly Hogan singing with her is the closest thing to heaven on earth i can imagine musically. while i was listening to them, i honestly thought to myself, she could part the red sea with her voice. her voice was like a string, connected to my soul, and singing her songs made the string vibrate in a most appealing way.
5) guitar lessons are proceeding according to schedule. i have seven chords to memorize.
6) the carnival was awesome in a very bizarre way, but i forgot my camera and disposable cameras SUCK. although there are a few cute pics of my friend Rich. i'll try to scan them in for you Rich. (if you're even reading this. maybe it's too long...). also, the ferris wheel is scary. but not as scary as the people who run it.
