1. this morning no one in my building turned on their water while i was in the shower, so i had uninterrupted hot water the whole time

2. there's this loose square of sidewalk on the way to school that i always enjoy walking on, because it sways up and down like a miniature see saw for one

3. i am through with course work in my program, so everyone is walking around like stressed out zombies and i can feel a surprising sense of relative calm

4. my friend michael was able to come in to school today and we could code together, which made the yucky task much more tolerable

6. someone brought donut holes from dunkin donuts into school today and i got to have two powdered sugar coated ones, which aside from fresh, hot glazed krispy kreme donuts are my favorite breakfast dessert

7. for at least a few days, the "tell us what you're reading, viewing, or listening to" option on myspace was working

8. someone uploaded the napolean dynamite dance clip into youtube.
